A message to all Arrowmen:
We are always here and willing to help out your home troops, but consider the great words of President John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country.” Most certainly, the Order of the Arrow is an organization dedicated to the service of others before ourselves. We could not function and serve our chapter with out the continuous help and support of dedicated arrowmen like yourselves. To find out ways that you can help out, ask your OA Troop Representative, or, better yet, come to the roundtable meetings.
The chapter is always looking for more of its members to attend the roundtable meetings. If you don’t come, you are missing out on half the fun of being an arrowman. For new ordeal members, the meetings are the best way of learning more about the order. If you don’t already know, we meet the second Monday of every month at the Columbia Academy Elementary. It’s located at 10350 Old Columbia Road, just off of Guilford Road in Columbia.
Also, we are looking for any and all arrowmen interested in or willing to help out with ceremonies and elections. If you sign up now, you will get your choice of part for the ceremonies. For those that are worried about having to travel long distances, we will accommodate you by setting you up with elections and ceremonies in your area. To participate, please come to the roundtable meetings or contact us at our email address. We thank you for your help.
