SUMMER 2010 (tentative date set for July 17 – August 8)

National Capital Area Council (NCAC)
NCAC's Centennial Scouting on the Mall

Be part of the showcase of "All Things Scouting" planned to be conducted on the National Mall between the Washington Monument and the World War II Memorial. This will be a continuous 16-day presence in which our very own Scouts will demonstrate every aspect of 100 years of Scouting in the Nation’s Capital, including Scoutcraft, merit badges, camping, service projects, and geo-Scouting. We will be joined by Adventure Base 100, the National BSA touring adventure show.

This Centennial Scouting on the Mall event will be the longest, continuous Scouting presence on the National Mall in the history of the Boy Scouts of America!  It all started right here in Washington, DC on February 8, 1910.
