2009 Recruiting Campaign
Wrapped within the powerful messaging of the Scout Law, a new national recruitment campaign will launch in 2009 – “Words to Live By”
The campaign seeks to parents and youth excited and interested in scouting, and to hook them up with local Packs, Troops, Crews, Teams, and Ships.
So what does this offer your local scouting unit?
1. You can find great recruiting materials (videos, posters, etc.) at the Words To Live By website.
2. The national www.BeAScout.org website has a feature to let parents locate and contact local units. They can locate units on a map and even send email to local unit contacts. YOUR UNIT should register a contact for this service. This should be a key leader in your unit who uses email regularly! Registration of your unit and unit contact must be made through the BAC registration website.
3. Be sure to send a representative from your unit to one of the School Night Training sessions in August.
4. Be sure to list any recruiting events you unit is planning on our website's Recruiting Event list.
