Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a course for one or more members of the Pack in how to plan outdoor excursions and camping trips for Cub scouts. Every pack should have a trained BALOO leader. A day of fun and learning prepares pack leaders to plan and carry out “entry-level” outdoor experiences, which are safe and appropriate for Cub Scouts.
Although this training is not required for all Cub leaders, at least one member of a Pack must be BALOO Trained in order for their Cub Scout Pack to be
authorized to go camping. This training is focused on the Cubmaster or committee member in charge of pack camping, and is recommended for den
leaders. With proper planning and your trained leader, your pack should be set for a fun and exciting weekend event.
Register by April 10th 2010 – Space is limited to 40 attendees.

Correction: The flyer below incorrectly says that fees may paid at check-in for email registration. That's a double mistake. Fees must be paid ahead of time, and the registration form must be mailed, not emailed, to Tammy Kozlowski at the address given in the flyer. Sorry for the error.
